Candy Dice's mascot character "Daisuke" is a figurine counterweight. Powerful in the hand, and cute on the display shelf!
This is a miniature figurine of Candy Dice's cute mascot character, named Daisuke (get it?)... but it's much more than that! Transform it into a functional counterweight, just by removing its legs.
At 30 millimeters in diameter, it is the largest counterweight in the Candy Dice lineup to date. In addition, Candy Dice's expertise as a specialist in counterweights has been put to full use, and as a result of multiple rounds of prototyping--not only of the external appearance but also the internal structure and weight distribution--they have achieved a surprisingly easy to handle and usable dice, despite its large size.
Because of its large size and high visibility, Daisuke is suitable for use in performances, and has great potential to be used on the street or stage.
For ease of use, the interior is designed to be hollow and lightweight. Because of its lower density, Daisuke is a bit more prone to breakage than other candy dice, so please be careful when using them as counterweights.

2001 X Division world champion and REWIND Shibuya store manager, Shingo "Terry" Terada joined forces with 3D printing mastermind Hideki Toho (AKA YOYOMAKER) to focus solely on the other side of the 5A string, focusing exclusively on counterweights.
"We want to foster a style of 5A play that makes it easy for anyone to pick up and try" was the concept at its heard, and so they innovated new ways to easily add a counterweight to a 1A yo-yo. This ease of use set them apart from other options, and they've never stopped innovating, with many collaborations with other makers, including the original Duncan. They keep things fresh with cool new colors in limited runs, making them great collectables.

Small layers in the dice face are part of the design thanks to the manufacturing process.
